We’ve had 2 exciting events happen in the life of kSARIA in the last month.
First, as a result of our partnership with DRS Technologies, we will be putting a state-of-the-art fiber optic cable assembly center of excellence in the DRS-IMS facility in Johnstown PA. As a preview of this kSARIA operated “factory within a factory”, we are participating in the 2006 Greater Johnstown “Showcase for Commerce” on June 1st and 2nd. The article below contains the agenda for the Showcase. We hope that you will visit us there.
Next, Congressman Marty Meehan, a senior Member of the House Armed Services Committee visited our new facilities in Lawrence Massachusetts during our recent open house, and we were able to brief him on the DRS partnership. We appreciate the Congressman’s interest and assistance in introducing us to DRS; more information is included in the press release issued from his office.

Congressman Marty Meehan Announces kSARIA-DRS Agreement
U.S. Congressman Marty Meehan, a senior Member of the House Armed Services Committee, today announced an agreement between kSARIA of Lawrence, Massachusetts, and DRS Laurel Technologies, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a unit of DRS Technologies, Inc. The companies have agreed to build a completely automated center at the DRS facility in Johnstown, similar to kSARIA's Lawrence facility, for manufacturing ultra high-quality fiber-optic cables.
